Fishing Ridge Villa proved that the size of the project does not define our commitment to excellence. Though smaller in dimension than some of its predecessors, it was executed with the same technical rigour and attention to detail. This project represents an important step in our company's chronology, marking our early implementations of integrated solar and energy systems that have now become a hallmark of our current high-end builds.

The location offered a stunning view but presented two primary technical challenges: a significantly steep terrain and high exposure to coastal winds. We addressed the topography with a robust foundation system designed for long-term stability. To combat the wind, we implemented a "four-season" pool area featuring a louvred ceiling. This solution allows the owners to enjoy the outdoor space year-round, providing a sheltered sanctuary regardless of the weather.

While many coastal projects lean toward a bright, white palette, the Fishing Ridge Villa explores a “moodier” and more intimate atmosphere. Following the client’s vision for a cosy refuge, we utilised darker tones in the cabinetry and interior finishes. This choice creates a sophisticated contrast with the bright coastal light, resulting in a home that feels both protective and deeply comfortable—a private sanctuary grounded firmly into the ridge.
From the first excavation on the hillside to the final installation of the fixed systems, this project was a study in efficient, high-quality execution. It serves as a reminder that the Pascal Millasseau Construction standard is a constant: we bring the same level of construction expertise and care to every home we build, ensuring durability and comfort in every square meter.
